Local Art
In 1956, tourism magazine Cabaret Quarterly described Havana as “a mistress of pleasure, the lush and opulent goddess of delights.” At Flama Cabana, that spirit is embodied by Lola, painted beautifully by artist Colette Ruelette, whose painted images greets guests, both above the entrance and beyond, in the form of vibrantly whimsical murals. These large-scale murals showcase the history, romance, and beauty of Cuba.
